Due to health and help, I am retiring effective 15 April 2011. I will still continue to sell some of the Vib rhytidophyllum liners, and the latest Vib. released from the USNA Arboretum, .Nantucket.. This will be your last chance to purchase B&B and containers at a reduced price.
The most exciting viburnum to come along in a while is .Nantucket.. This semi-evergreen shrub will grow 12. tall and 7. wide. Culture is full sun to part shade. A cross of V. .Eskimo. x V. macrocephalum f. keteleeri. Relatively compact shrub with dark green foliage and a profusion of pure white, lightly-fragrant flowers. On Easter weekend, 2008, temps dropped to 11 degrees for 3 days, with no loss of leaves or buds. Six weeks later, it was in full bloom. It.s been evergreen here since arrival in 2000. Flowers on 2 year old plants, and can be used as a specimen plant, hedge, mass planting, or as a backdrop in the shrub border.
To our new customers, payment will be required before plants are shipped. To our regular customers, you will still be given a 30 day grace period to make payment.
